MOUSE DEFENDS MOUSE
The Zoo of Hangzhou (Eastern China) gave live mice to snakes. When a snake started eating one of the mice, another one attacked. Looks like a very risky act of altruism, of apparent defense. The photo was released by the zoo. Can anyone comment on whether this is typical behavior?
